Sound Production
In this unit, we learned about sound productions and using applications to edit those sounds to make them dramatic or even more realistic. My project was showing my own daily life in the bathroom, through only sounds. I recorded the door being closed, turning the top of the tooth paste, brushing my teeth etc. These sounds collaborate and create a story line in which the audience could hear and possibly see the movements.
This project was incredibly fun to do and it was interesting to edit the sounds such as making it fade or adding reverb. The importance of this project was to show that sound had a powerful impact on our every day life and that it makes everything more interesting. Relating to the ESLOS this project made us become aware and concern about our community because we are aware of how important sound is and it makes us realize how fortunate we are that we could hear sounds. Furthermore, we are using technology in ways that benefit us and do not harm others, in order to edit and create a product for others to view.

Traditional Chinese Music
In this group project, we focussed on the Traditional Chinese Music. This included the research of its history, how it was influenced by the West, the different types and what purpose it had. We created a powerpoint presentation and presented to the class. This project allowed the students to gain knowledge about World Music and how it could possibly change throughout the years. Also, we were able to learn how the music were influenced throughout as well. Furthermore, we learned from our friends because each group had a different country to present about, there were India, China, Japan etc.
This project linked with the school's ESLOS because we were able to work as a team and also use technology in a positive way. There were many areas to research about and we were strategic learners because we were able to plan without wasting time and collaborate on different ideas to create a product that was easy to understand and was beneficial for our friends.
