4th Quarter
We did self study on the stories of important people that followed Buddha's footsteps or lived by Buddha's teachings. I chose to draw and summarize about Ananda Buddha because he was a very important person that helped Buddha thought the years. He was wise, kind and would protect Buddha, with his own life. This sparked a important lesson and allowed the readers to ponder on their life and what it meant by "living". I summarized the key points in the story and drew pictures that related to the story.
This project reflected on how we should be in society and show how behavior that is moral, honest, and correct according to our society’s rules. Show we are hardworking and caring by trying to live by Buddha's teachings that allows us to be calm, content and a morally intelligent person. Furthermore, the project also allowed us to express our creativity and show concern and responsibility for the well-being of the community.

In the second quarter, we studied about Krung Thon Buri, there were lectures and interactive activities to allow students to understand the topic further. Also, we studied about Ratana Kosin until this unit current topic and we had self study. We then used our knowledge to write our own essays based on a chosen topic. My chosen topic was about how WW2 affected Thailand whether it was through the economy, social/cultural effects and political effects.
This way of studying allowed us to be at our own pace and reflect on the things we have learnt. It also made us understand the life before our time as well as understanding why some of the things in our life today are the way it is. Therefore, reflecting on the ESLOS, I am a STRATEGIC LEARNER because I use technology to do research and work be able to reflect on our learning and how our mistakes help us to improve. As there were many obstacles and adjustments made, I was able to learn the mistakes and so it allowed me to improve on further assignments.

1st Quarter
In Thai Social Studies, we studied about Thai Historical Era and the way of life during that time. We also learned a little bit about how the evidences are categorize or how they are used in determining some information. Also, we understood the different ages throughout our life cycle, learned how to calculate and convert different religious years such as converting the years in Christian (BE etc) into Buddhist Years (Calendar). Furthermore, we learned about early lives of Thai people and how they managed to hunt and the trade and how different parts of Thailand became wealthy and how the citizens were ruled. Not only that, we were able to understand how the citizen could ask for help and that the King was able to grant the wishes after determining the appropriateness.
We studied about Ayutthaya and Suchothai Kingdoms, how the trades were made, their locations that helped them gain land advantages and also the citizen's welfare. This provides insight on the ways of life in the historical era which allows us to understand our past and how it had evolved.
We then created posters to illustrate our knowledge on the given era, the era that I presented on was called the "SriwiChai". The poster had a infographic style to draw the audiences attention. It provided the use of technology in a good way and promotes awareness for others about their ancestors. The project not only helps the student in a creative way, it proposes communication skills
