After noticing the amount of paper wasted from over printing, errors and misprints, we decided to help. The paper wasted would go directly to the bin without the end product being recycled so our goal was to 'recycle' the papers.
This is an important issue because papers are made from trees and the amount of deforestation is really high, we would like to give back to what we destroyed. This project linked to our 'first' project that had to be cancelled because we chose the same project as another group. Our first project was to increase the amount of trees for the school by planting small trees (pots) in class rooms and also outside the classrooms. Our idea had to be changed so we came up with the idea of recycling used, left-over and scrap paper, whether it is double sided or one sided.
